Our Story
We are Rinn Artificial Intelligence at University of Galway. Insight is one of the largest data analytics centres in Europe.
Rinn Artificial Intelligence is designed to serve as a national hub for research and innovation in data science and AI. The programme has two overarching goals: (i) to advance foundational cutting-edge research in Data Science and AI, and (ii) to pursue open, international, and inter- and transdisciplinary research aimed at studying, designing, and implementing strategies to address societal challenges.

Our focus is on creating a nationwide alliance of data spaces to pioneer a data-centric future for Ireland, bringing together key stakeholders, including policymakers, associations, research bodies, innovators, and local businesses.
Our vision is to help establish a secure, collaborative data ecosystem in Ireland that fully harnesses the potential of data, driving exceptional innovation, economic prosperity, and societal progress within a strong and sustainable data economy.
